I wanted to alert you to a couple of new blogs links I have added. One is written by Greg Taylor. He's the managing editor and web designer for ZOE and just one great guy. Affectionately known as GT, you'll enjoy his writing.

Second, my old friend Stephanie Elliott Grosz (she REALLY loved that guy. All in fun, Rob!)is writing some great things over at her blog. Stephanie and I go way back to ACU days. She was a great friend through school and it's been fun to reconnect with her. I really love her writing style.

Enjoy!

Thanks, Brando. In light of the new ZOE release, Desperate, and your writing here on the blog, I want to publically invite you to write a piece for Wineskins magazine that will come out simultaneous with LTH 2004. Would you consider writing (and would you who read Brandon's blog consider egging him on...and defending me from his bonk on the head when he sees me publically ask him--OK, he's allowed to say no, so don't be too tough on him). We want to know what's in the heart of the one leading us at the ZOE conference what it means to be desperate for God. What do you think about writing something on "Songs of Desperation Through the Ages" and talk about songs (historically or recently) written in arid times such as war, loss, sin. Think about it, gather some of your best blog material, give me 800-1600 words. This is a first, to ask for an article on a blog - and may be the last if you get frustrated at me for it! But we who are desperate have to take chances - grins. --love ya bro, Greg Taylor

How can you resist an offer like that?
Thanks for the plug. I think I blushed when I read it! Just so glad you didn't use the aromatic nick name! Couple that with my last name now and I would have to put stick-ups in my pits just to get people to talk to me! (Not a fun visual, is it?)
Have a great weekend!
P.S. Have I told you that Maddie is so cute!? (Ella too but we are on Maddie now.) Those little pig tails are to die for! Precious, precious! Loved the luau pictures. Sorry I couldn't send over the rotating mirror ball for that "sea" affect:-})

I was talking to some friends who are Baptist, and they told me how much they love the work that ZOE is doing. Keep it up.
