update:
Back is worse...now affecting neck and left arm. Thank you for continued prayers. I went to the doc today and got some medication and a big honkin steroid shot. On to a PT in a couple of days and then we'll see. I can't seem to get relief. Please pray for a break in the pain. Thanks!

You are definitely in my prayers, brother! I too have suffered months of crippling back pain so I am hurting for you! There is life after that horrendous steroid shot!! I do pray that the shot and the PT will do wonders for you as it finally did for me. God bless you!

Brandon--Have you considered seeing an acupuncturist? It really works in my opinion... Of course, the trick is finding a good one! As a clinical pharmacist, I prefer for people to NOT take medications unless absolutely necessary...treat the cause if possible, not just the symptoms... Tim and I will be praying for you! Keep us posted. (I don't recall how you initially hurt yourself...???)
