--long boring meetings
--the endless barrage of spam email
--the RETARDED email forwards that threaten bad luck for 15 years unless you forward the email and subject your friends to the same stupid message. Did I mention I can't stand those??
--watching baseball on TV
Things I really love...
--my family
--friends
--laughter!!
--celebrating birthdays (YEA LAUREN!!)
--Steak Maui at Houston's (Nashville no longer has a Houston's. BOOOOOO!!)
--seeing acts of kindness
--great movies
--pictures
My friend Sally Gary comes in town this afternoon. She's on that last list too. I'm looking forward to having some good time with her. Maddie starts pre-K on Friday. I'm still trying to get my mind around that. I'm SO glad we decided to wait on Kindergarten. It'll be hard enough to get used to her being gone 3 days a week. She's excited though.
Feel free to leave some of your most and least favorite things...and if you don't...you'll have bad luck for 20 years. Pass that on to all the people you really want to annoy.
PS: I've been asked this several times recently...you don't have to keep up a blog to publish a comment here. You do have to register though. It gives you a profile which basically says your name and that's all you really have to do. Hope that helps answer some questions if there are those of you wanting to comment but not wanting to maintain a blog.

-Family Fun Night (complete w/pizza & a DVD)

- misspelled words (especially by a professional)
- confrontations (especially at church)
- living so far from my youngest daughter
- people who don't identify themselves when they call and expect you to know who they are
- emails from family and friends spewing what is bothering them

- my grand daughters having me read them a book when they sleep over at my house

- My Bed & Breakfast in my mind and heart that I hope to have one day
- lunch with my bestest friend Gina

~people who treat ministry as an option

~flat tires
~people who get up in my face when they try to talk to me

~household issues like Beaner's leaky basement!

Photography
Art that makes sense
Zoe Music (yeah, yeah I'm a suck up!)
Soft socks
Sushi (Sorry Brandon-try some non-fish sushi, it's awesome!)
Bubble baths
The taste and smell of pineapple
The Psalms
Watching my kids
My wonderful hubby of 19 1/2 years!

Sally Gary is one of my favorite people!! Give her a hug for me and tell her we missed her at dinner tonight!

-a hot shower that suddenly turns cold

i guess since you are getting requests to come to different places in alabama ... do you think you can come to mobile, after you go to florence? wish i was there for the athens thing. my cousin lives there, but he didn't tell me that you guys were coming, just like he didn't tell me that he came to mobile for the teachers convention and he was two streets from my office!

Wow. My number two most hated things are also snakes and mushrooms. I'd say I hate Satan more than the two of those (and I really do,) but I believe that snakes and mushrooms are representatives of Satan on this earth. I also hate when Satan lies to me and the people I love. But I love my fiancee. And Caramel Turtle Fudge Blue Bell ice cream. :)
Things I don't like much:
- get out of the passing lane people!
- hot nights (I'm talking temperature)
- when my kids are sick
- discussions about religious topics that don't matter
- Fox News
- car trouble

- my family

- friends I can share anything with

Things I Don't Like:
- Seafood (Sorry, Brandon) It's the texture that kills my tongue
- People telling me the "churches of Christ" is a cult church
- I spend 9 bucks to attend an "Open Captioned" movie (I'm deaf, remember) and the captioning doesn't work!
- Winter (except if I have the opportunity to Ski in Colorado or Alaska)
- When kids get older, their (excuse me) vomit is more than it used to be (rubber gloves, plenty of lysol and disinfectant liquid)!!
- People looking like "Deer In The Headlights" when they learned they're talking to a deaf guy. ;)
- Flossing (but I have to do it anyways)
Things I Love (that's easy):
- God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit (my #1 people)!
- My family
- My church family (locally and universally)
- My dog, Hope.
- Zoe group! THEY ROCK!
