Tonight we went to Vanderbilt hospital to see Jackie England (wife of ZOE singer, David). Please be praying for her. She's had a number of health issues.
As we were leaving, Ella got on the elevator while we were chatting with Amy Westerman and Philip Organ. Before we could react the doors closed and down went one screaming child. (I did the same thing in a mall in El Paso when I was her age and remember it to this day!) We went on a hunt for her and followed the sounds of screams. Sheryl found her on the 5th floor in the care of a very nice woman.
Tonight as I tucked her in I suggested that maybe God had sent an angel to watch over her until we could get there. She said, "God is real...we know it because we feel Him in our spirit and if He weren't real, we wouldn't know love!" Precious!
Then, when Sam went to bed he said, "Mommy, can I have a piece of water?"
I love these days!

These days are priceless, aren't they!
We had the elevator thing happen at the library in Abilene and Michal Kate. Kendra was by herself at the time with a baby stroller and a 4 year-old that could,'t really race up and down the stairs. Good thing Abilene had a small library...
Precious stories from your children! Have you heard Trace Adkins' song, "You're gonna miss this?" It's great!!!
I remember how wide open your mouth was as you went down. It would happen to Ella, of all your children. Love, Mom
