Just got back from Denver. Long story. Was out there helping to promote a hymnal and meeting with some folks during CBA. It was really crazy. I've performed at CBA before but never been on the exhibit floor. It was a zoo. Don't believe me? Here are some pics for ya. One thing I will say...Love me some Lulu Roman. We spent about 5 hours together on Tuesday while she signed CDs in our booth. She told me some AWESOME Hee-Haw stories. Oh, how I WISH I could share. More blogging later...my trip ended with sitting on a runway in a tiny airplane for 6 hours waiting to take off. I'm SO GLAD to be home!!!!

BST and my new buddy, Lulu Roman from Heee-Hawwwww!

Lulu signs her CD at our booth.

BST and freaky Christian circus butterfly woman. She completely scared me.

Pic with some other circus people. They were LESS scary if you can believe it.

Stephen Baldwin. There's much to comment on here that I just can't share.

This one was for Maddie and Ella. Who knew Strawberry Shortcake was a Christian?

BST and Kirk Cameron. His TV show partner kept wanting to know if I knew where I'd go if I died that night. Kirk...nice guy.

Wow....Lulu....now that brings back some Saturday night memories. She could belt em' out!
You've got to clarify what those painted up butterfly people were all about? What was there purpose? Did they have any!
Stephen Baldwin-you can drop a bomb like that and then say you can't share....fess up! What's the scoop!
Kirk Cameron! Wow, he comes across so great on TV! Is he genuine in person!
What a few days you had. I'm jealous!

Can you define CBA. I guess I am not in the know. Sorry, I am so lame.

Looks like a crazy, terrific time. Share what you can, we are wanting!!!!

I love, love, love that you took a picture with Kirk Cameron. Why just a picture of Stephen, where was your friendly moment? Glad you got back safe and sound- even if you didn't make it to bed as early as you wanted.

I'm guessing CBA=Christian Booksellers' Association. Looks like a fun time! I want to hear more of the story!

Is it just me, or does Kirk Cameron STILL look like he did on 'Growing Pains'? (He was 1 of my first crushes, so I'm a little jealous too!) Looks like you had fun!!!

Kirk Cameron's ministry site is Way of the Master.

The Are you a good person? test is the most interesting.

I can't wait to see Stephen Baldwin's family (the brothers et al) all come to know Christ. It is so nice to see you and all the rest reaching out to those that do not know Christ. Must have been great fun meeting all the celebs. Thumbs up to you!

Looks like you had fun and I agree the butterfly woman looked scary. HeeHaw was a staple around our house growing up--I'm sure the stories were hilarious. I also think it is so great that you think of things your girls would get a kick out of...not many men would pose with Strawberry Shortcake. We love you guys and we'll seriously get you over to the house when yo uget back from Mexico(I'm pretty sure that is where you are going)

It looks like you and Kirk just got done singing a little - "Show me that smile again. Don't waste another minute on your cryin'. We're nowhere near the end. The best is ready to begin. Whoo-hooo..." You know the rest.

Too awesome that you saw him, but Lulu is my favorite. Love me some Hee-Haw!

And yes, CBA = Christian Booksellers Association. The only reason I know is Word Entertainment used to be a client of mine and every Christian bookstore outside of Lifeway and Family are part of the CBA.

Hey J-Mc. Actually, Family Christian Bookstore people were there this yr. One of my mtgs was with them.

WHEN are we getting together???

PS...let's just put it this way...apparently, one of the more eccentric cast members (and that's hard to define in that group) had her UTERUS bronzed after having 7 children. She displayed it on her coffee table. Um....

And...the giant butterfly woman was waaaaaay too friendly. I finally had to ask her to BACK OFF. Seriously. Immediately following that picture she enclosed me in her frightening wings and that's when I took my cloak and ran.

check out butterfly woman's right hand. And then check out my expression. It's horror underneath.

Take "wind beneath my wings" to a whole new level. Freaky butterfly woman!!!

I hadn't thought of hee-haw in a LONG time so thanks for the memories. I think it was Hee-Haw and then the Donny & Marie show on Saturday nights?

Love ya brother!

It makes perfect sense to me that you would get along better with the girls wearing blue lipstick. oh tattooed friend.

What on EARTH is a Christian Circus? Other than what goes on at Otter Creek every Sunday morning? (teehee)

A bronzed uterus???? EWWW!!!!

These pics are great! Where else than a random Christian gathering would you find Lulu, Strawberry Shortcake, Stephen Baldwin and Madame Butterfly under one roof?

Is that what you'd call ecumenical?

Hi, my name is Steve, and I'm a recovering TBN addict.

Hi, Steve!

Seriously, for me, visiting your blog today was like visiting Cooperstown. Stephen Baldwin? Kirk Cameron? Freaky circus women?

We're talking about the who's-who here, people. Have some respect!
