Maddie and Ella both enjoy their cheerleader outfits their Nonnie bought them in Abilene. Maddie was completely fascinated with the cheerleaders we saw in Abilene. It's no wonder that she has developed an interest in doing "cheers". Her aunt Kiki is the cheerleader sponsor where she teaches here in Nashville. She also helps Maddie with the "jumps".

This is Maddie's cheer she likes to say right now. It completely cracks me up.

The Wildcats are HOT!
And CAN'T BE STOPPED!!!!
(insert out of control screaming and jumping here and then a pause long enough to yell...)
We're number TWO!!!!!

She'll be the new breed of cheerleaders...realists.

Kolby got the ACU cheerleader outfit in 2002 at our reunion. She still trys to wear it, but it is a bit short! Maddie is right on schedule in girl progression... first it's Elmo, then Princesses (this stage last for about 30 years), then all things Barbie, then cheerleaders, then pretending to be Mommies, Kitty Cats and Kim Possible.... or at least that has been our experience! Girls are so fun! Post some cheer pictures soon!

Steph-
It's so amazing to see the differences in Maddie and Ella. Maddie was BARNEY CRAZY! Ella could not care less. Maddie could take or leave baby dolls. Ella is so consumed with them that she has 6 in her bed at night with her. At Sydney Williamson's birthday party last week...the princess party...all the girls were dressed in princess gear and having tea parties and things down stairs. Ella was no where to be found. I went upstairs and found her playing quite happily by herself with all of Sydney's babies. That girld has some serious nurturing instincts.
