Three Big Shows in One Week

I am in the middle of 3 big shows...Cydcor last weekend in Dallas, Emdeon today and Heart Gala this coming Saturday. It's been a bit crazy.

I just got home from the Cydcor show. I always enjoy being with those guys. It was so fun seeing Sue, Gail, Crystal and Monique. The set rocked...we created an iphone set. The aps were all corresponding to convention sessions and speakers. It was so cool!

I flew back yesterday just in time to sled with the kids after Nashville's awesome snow (4 inches). This morning we had load-in for the Emdeon show. The monster guitars were lookin' great!

The theme was a celebration of Music City and Country Music. Sheryl did the centerpieces and they ROCKED!

Cydcor Dallas

I just returned from Dallas where I assisted Gary with the Cydcor show. We used our new LED screen surrounds and they looked great! One of the great things about LED lighting is that it is a very "green" option which appeals to more and more companies these days.

After the business meeting we had the afternoon to turn the banquet space into a Mardi Gras party. It looked great! There were also 3 huge inflatable games, a dunk tank, and a green-screen production booth where groups could make their own music videos. Everyone seemed to have a lot of fun.

After I got home yesterday I was so filled with euphoria over the weather that the kids and I jumped out on the trampoline for about an hour. It was fun! I am SO ready for Spring!!

Cydcor National Conference

We had quite a week...two huge events back to back. This weekend Gary produced the Cydcor National Conference in association with Orion. It was a crazy load-in and load out. We had two major stage sets. I counted up and in just 48 hours time, I was at the convention center about 35 hours. I was stage manager for the business meeting and awards show. Gary did a fantastic job as producer!

Sheryl was project manager for the table decor for the awards show. It was MASSIVE. The people at the convention center said it was the largest crowd they had served. There were almost 300 tables...set for 2556 people. Sheryl and her crew did linens and center pieces for all of the tables. It was a huge job!

It was fun to have all our worlds collide...church friends, work friends. Adam Bastien was on Sheryl's crew. Adam is one of our performers...he was in one of my Celebrity Infinity casts and will be in my next NCL Spirit cast.

Sheryl's crew did SUCH a great job! They had so many tables to do, it seemed overwhelming, but they had a great time and laughed along the way. I captured a little "glow dancing"!

We got home about 2am and crashed. I don't know when I have been so tired. Today has been a great day of rest!
