Hey Brandon,

I listened to those two clips. My confession is that I don't actually like that sort of music, as a genre. But, man, that sounded really, really good. It was moving. Thanks for putting it out there.

I love them both, especially Your Name. Beautiful! Really made me miss worshipping at Otter.

May God continue to use you and ZOE to bring honor to His name! 'Your Name' has become one of my favorite private devotional songs in the past few months.

Brandon,

Thanks for the teaser clips...I'm looking forward to hearing the whole CD soon! It's sounding really great so far! Have you got a teaser for "You Are Good"? I'm interested to see how that one comes together!

I especially like "Be Praised". I love hearing an unfamiliar song done with no instruments (not always a big fan of "popular" Christian songs sung sans instruments though). --Matt

I played "Your Name" for my 5 year-old. When Sheryl came in, he said, "Is that the same lady who sings "David & Goliath"? ("You Were There")

Would you call that a distinctive voice?? :)

Beautiful song!

i need a huge Route 44 Chery Lime Slush with a double shot of energy. Anyone? Anyone?

Mixing. What fun. Hearing everyone isolated and naked...it can be completely frightening. ESPECIALLY ME.

Advil. I'm begging you...

Brandon, no, not especially you. I love your voice. You have sung me through some difficult times and joyous experiences and it speaks to me. God has gifted you and even though I liked last year's CD, I missed your voice in most of it. Just Julie's opinion but thought I would throw it out there. Now go get that drink that you so desperately need.

Oh the joys of mixing. Getting to listen to melodine correction and watching people's legs bit by sharks.

Man, I'm jealous. I'd love to be in a studio working like that. I could spend hours there. In fact, listening to "Your Name" I was wondering, what mic pres are they using, compression, mics. I love the whole thing. And I'm with you, it can be rough when you iso everyone. I don't think people realize how much goes into a good mix. "Your Name" sounds GREAT. I look forward to hearing everything else.02
