Yesterday on the flight home we connected through Las Vegas and changed planes and ended up in front of 3 "plane offenders". No...the entire plane does NOT want to hear your conversation or hear how many different creative ways you can curse. We do NOT want to know about all your escapades or what you might do if you were "in prison". (yes, I am serious.) Here's a tip---when people all around you are donning parachutes, it's time to take a look within.

So...we landed and I got to see my kids for a couple of hours before having to go to work on the recording. We mixed til early this morning. In fact, I was so delirious, I got lost going home in my own town. It was ridiculous!

We've been back at it today since about 11 this morning (it's currently after midnight now). We started off this morning with smiles...
L-R--me, Chris Yoakum (our very, very AWESOME engineer), Kyler, and Ryan Sutton (the asst. engineer)

In fact...as the day wore on, song after song, Chris manages to stay his perky up-beat self...

By tonight...here was how I was feeling. This picture pretty much says it all...

2:30 am...still...going....

That last pic must be about when you texted. I stayed up working on transcription 'til midnight. I'm starting again now, 8:30. I've calculated that I have to be away from home 5 hours 50 minutes today doing various things for children/family/church, leaving me about 7 hours to work (9 if I stay up 'til midnight again!) The race in on, readers! Pray for ZOE!

For some reason that last pix of you reminds me of Buddy Pine/Incrediboy from The Incredibles, lol. Hope you don't mind me saying so! (;

"Isn't life hideous when ya finally start looking the way your age feels?"

um...thank you? (kidding)

I am PUMPED about this CD. It's one of the things giving me adrenaline right now. I can't wait for you guys to hear it!!! I hope you like it--but mainly I am excited about worshiping together with these songs and praying that God will use them to draw all of us into greater things for Him.

That's kind of like our day yesterday- only instead of the obnoxious guys behind us we were in the last seat that wouldn't recline- for a six hour flight. No one was obnoxious and no one was sick (we were right next to the lavatories). Officially, I think you had it worse even if we started out at 6:30am and didn't stop until almost 3:00am our time.

Wow, and all I do is sit back and enjoy the music! Thanks for all you guys do to make Zoe so meaningful for the rest of us. Hugs! And, go celebrate when it's all done!

Sorry about that flight experience. Sounds as if those guys need Someone else in their lives to help identify priorities. It was good to see you guys in Santa Rosa. Can't wait for the CD... thanks so much for all the work on those over the years... so continue to be blessed.

That's scary. And to think you were the last guy my wife kissed before marrying me.
