Celebrity Summit Cast

Tomorrow we send off our Celebrity Summit cast. They are a very talented group. Lots of return performers for us. They are going to be such a hit out there.

Cheers to all of you... Jasmin, Jeremy, Jeff, Joseph, Lindsey, Charley, Patrick, Danielle, Amy, Kerri-Ann, Simon, Igor, Ariel, Brandi, Kate, and Erin... you've all had such a great chemistry on stage. Thank you for giving it 100%. Break a leg guys!!!

Here are some video clips for your viewing pleasure :) In case you aren't sure how to make it play...hit the arrow in the lower left hand corner of each screen. (sometimes it might say "This video is unavailable". If you'll refresh your page, it will come up. Not sure why it does that.)

Lindsey as "Thoroughly Modern Milly"

Typewriter scene from "Milly" (I always love this...and love Milly)

Jasmin sings "All That Jazz" from the musical CHICAGO. (I first heard Jasmine sing as the lead in AIDA at ACU and I knew right then I wanted to work with her. Fantastic on stage!)

dance scene from the musical CHICAGO

Lion King... "Circle of Life". Jeremy Hardy...incredible.

Lion King... "He Lives In You" Lindsey sounds great on this! The dancers are nailing it too.

Lion King... "Circle of Life" finale

-----------------------------------------

The following video clips are from one of their other shows...just a few here

"The Main Event"

"Sir Duke" Jeremy Hardy

"Georgia" Jeremy Hardy...I remember when Jeremy auditioned a couple of years ago. He sang a little R&B and nailed it. He was hired in that track and then WHO KNEW he could also sing opera?? He brought the HOUSE DOWN singing Nessun Dorma. Great guy. Great voice. I'm biased here, but I think we have the best performers working for Gary Musick Productions. Solid people. I'm proud of all of them.

"Respect"--featuring Jasmin, Charley, Danielle, Kate and Brandi

Jasmin sings "Hero". Ariel and Brandi dance beautifully. They were recently married. Love watching them perform!

I had to leave early and didn't get a lot of video of Joseph and Jeff. They are awesome too. I wish them all the best as they fly to Puerto Rico tomorrow. They will make us proud! Peace and safe travels, friends!

NCL Spirit

"Soul Rockin' Nights" opened to great reviews on the NCL Spirit last night. The cast did a great job! The lighting was amazing (thanks to Jason--lighting designer for Nine Inch Nails). Congrats to everyone! No rest for the weary--we're back in the theater all day today getting ready to open the Broadway show on Thursday.

I fly home Friday from Quebec City to Montreal to Toronto...finally into Nashville. Please pray all flights go on schedule so I can make it back for the last half of the weekend. Looking forward to ZOE!

Brief Trip to the NCL Sky

I am waiting at the airport for a flight home after a very quick two night trip out the NCL Sky to see their show called "Soul Rockin' Nights". This ship's shows are managed by in-house NCL productions but I'll be teaching that show for another ship later in the year and it was good to experience it first hand. The cast was really great and so sweet. Here are a few pics...I love the proscenium! Our guys in the shop built it. The lights really make it look cool.

"Born to be Wild" and "Life in the Fastlane" are really cool with these motorcycles

I am glad to have the weekend back home and enjoy being with my family. Thank you to everyone on the Sky for being so welcoming. I enjoyed my visit very much.

Infinity NEW cast

The new cast has been going through the gruelling work of putting up all their shows out on the Infinity. They were in great shape by the time I got out there to help. Such a strong cast! So much fun! I was so proud of them!
The pictures and clips below are from one of our shows called "Celebrate the World". It will at least give you an idea of what the show is like. It's a beautiful show!
"One Vision"

"Paris"...Aaron, Laura, and Eric

Laura sings "I Love Paris"

Mark sings Nessun Dorma

Mark sings Nessun Dorma

Love these costumes during the Venetian section

Funiculi

Eric sings in the Irish section

China (Stacey)

Country Section "Betty"

Country section "Let 'er Rip"

Aaron sings "Rio"

Backstage--happy campers

Emma, Aaron, Laura, Mark and me

The singers and me

The cast on formal night

Aaron Colby, Jenn Cloer and me (Aaron and Jenn kept me sane. Jenn is the choreographer-amazing! Her husband, Travis Cloer, used to be a singer for us but is now starring in Jersey Boys in Vegas and is incredible. If you're there, don't miss the show.)
I took some video during one of the costume runs but we didn't have spotlights that night so some of it is dark. Also, aerialists didn't perform that night--always beautiful!

Funiculi Funicula

Nessun Dorma

Nessun Dorma reprise (the money notes!)

Irish section...love this part!

China (there are also aerialists flying during this song but they didn't during this costume run)

Kalinka--Russia section

Kunya Sobe

Rio

This cast is going to be wildly successful out there. I love so many of them! Have a great opening week, guys! Break a leg!!

Infinity Cast Farewell

I just returned from the Celebrity Infinity where we are installing a new cast. The cast finishing up out there was one that I taught last Spring (when we sailed we were in Alaska). They did a great job! I took a picture or two and also some video clips of their final night. I also have pictures of the new cast going in out there but I'll wait til later to post those...
