Galt House--"Colors of the Season" Christmas show

We have an exciting week coming up with the opening of Gary Musick Productions' Christmas show in Louisville at the Galt House. One of our producers, Curt Wallen, is the mastermind behind this production. Great job, Curt! The cast has been here rehearsing and is heading that way. The rest of us will be there Wednesday and Thursday for the opening. It has DEFINITELY gotten me in the holiday spirit early this year.

A few months back several of our performers and I did a commercial spot for the show. It was one of the most fun days I've had in a long time. Travis, Abby, Jessica and I laughed the entire day. My face was so sore from smiling and laughing! As Abby and I watched the run-through yesterday we got cracked up thinking about how much fun we had that day. Here's the commercial spot. They did a great job on it.

I took some video of the cast during their preview for the Producers on Thursday. This cast is simply incredible--perfect for opening this show! Their vocals are amazing and they have great presence. We're all so proud of them! Get your hot chocolate ready!

Carol of the Bells

White Christmas (when they head Stage Left, that's really a big sleigh they'll be sitting in)

There are a couple of kid roles in the show--this is a dream sequence where Claire comes in as a ballerina. Many of you remember our sweet friend Claire. She and I have worked together on many projects. This time she gets to dance and bless us with her beautiful gift! One of my favorite Ella birthday parties is still the one where Claire came and taught them to be ballerinas. She's awesome!

Bradley rocks on "Mary Did You Know". Bruce Stegman is on stage during this clip directing--he's the choreographer. Bradley has worked for us on ships before he moved to NYC and had success on Broadway. He is taking a break from touring with Broadway Boys to work for us during the run of this show. Bradley is a great guy!

The show ends with a whole Christ-centered focus and I love this number..."O Holy Night". Clair and Jonathan dance beautifully and all the singers sound amazing. Great job, everyone! I'm excited to be at the opening next week in Louisville! It's going to rock!

I love Christmas shows like this! They get a person into the spirit of the commercial part of the season like nothing else. Still want to see an Amy Grant Christmas show in person. Seeing the Rockettes again the second week in December---can't wait!
