Too many things transpired yesterday to truly characterize the day. Let's just leave it at this...it was one of the longest, weirdest days I've had in a long time. We had the Otter Creek Family Christmas Breakfast with around 400 others in attendance, I had a major melt down over the car I was borrowing, and then spent around 9 hours working on the set up here with lots of other people. It ended up being a great day in many ways. We have made major progress on the set.

Here are some pics from our day...

I LOVE Santa pictures like this! We couldn't have planned it any better!

PROGRESS!!!! The stage is looking great thanks to so many awesome volunteers and cast members who put in looooooong hours yesterday!!

Also, loved the Sanders family this morning...I cannot stop laughing at you in that character. It was made for you!

Flashback to Chattanooga, Fall '95. One of our poor old pathetic cars was in the shop having hundreds of dollars of repair work done. Rob was at the grocery store in the other old pathetic car (Oldsmobile Omega, anyone remember those?) His brakes went out in the parking lot. Fortunately he only smashed into a grocery cart. He had a kind cousin not too far away that gave us rides until both cars were repaired. And then, of course, in December '95, I totaled the Omega -- which was worth about 50 dollars, anyway. Yup, we had a great Christmas that year!!
