I love Saturdays! It's 3pm and I am still in my pj's! This period of life is such a blast with the kids. They are old enough to entertain themselves but LOVE to entertain US! :) Maddie and Ella love to put on "shows".
Sam is USUALLY nice enough to indulge the girls and be their audience...
I captured a video of one today...the best part is Sam's commentary at the end...
There are so many little treasures in these days. I love that Maddie still calls magazines "Maz-a-gines". I love that Ella calls fingers "thing-ers". I love how Sam tries to convince us that he doesn't need a nap by immediately turning a fussy cry into a hilarious fake laughing fit. We know that before we know it, we'll turn around and they'll be grown.
We're spending the day bundled up inside...movie night tonight with Nonnie!!

ReplyDeleteyes, my almost seven-year-old still calls skunks, "stunks". i know we need to correct her b/c at some point she'll be embarrassed, but i'm still trying to hang on to a little bit of her little girlishness! plus, "stunk" makes perfect sense to me!
