My daughter and I were the only ones home at the time and she was not yet toilet trained so I found this a bit odd. I walked into the bathroom to find her standing in front of the toilet. I asked her what she was doing and she looked up at me rather matter-of-factly and said, "I put the cr-p in the toilet and I flushed it." I was quite shocked by her response because a)how did she know that word and b)how would know to use it in the correct context? So, I said, "I'm sorry honey, I didn't quite understand you." Again she said, "I put the cr-p in the toilet." Okay, I'm still rather confused. "Honey, can you tell Mommy again what you put in the toilet?" At that point she turns toward the bathtub and points at her bath toys and says, "I went over there, picked up the crab and put it in the toilet." "OH! The crab! Of course." What else would have been?Maliahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08113268891801837789noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6601770.post-1121978834481929742005-07-21T15:47:00.000-05:002005-07-21T15:47:00.000-05:00HAAA! The "Wild A's" - remember that? Gen 16:12 (Darby Translation) Never could imagine having to explain that to my boys if I ever take them!! My older brother Jamie accidentaly taught Molly "Holy Sh__!" She was about 18 months old (and he was 18) and just toddled into his bedroom one morning and climbed into his bed with him- she woke him up, and scared him to death. She thought it was hilarious and walked around the house for weeks saying it. My Mom didn't find it so entertaining, and I thought my grandparents were going to have heartattacks. We had to be a lot more careful after that about closing doors. :)Kateyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17692677245243613944noreply@blogger.com
